Project Overview:
The front landscape areas for this sweet Mill Valley bungalow were completely updated, offering much-needed curb appeal and a welcoming approach to the home's front entrance. The stained redwood front fence and gate echo the design of their existing side fence and lead to a wider, curving, full color bluestone pathway and small patio area. What use to be lawn and a mostly weed-filled landscape is now a beautiful, colorful garden filled with succulents, grasses, reeds, ground covers and other low-water, sculptural plants. A variety of boulders, some chosen to serve as seats, are adjoined by curving dry creek beds in some areas. They new landscape design also provides added visual interest by breaking up the landscape's rectangular shape. Low-voltage landscape lighting was incorporated along the pathways and to accent other areas of the garden. |
